Our Journalism Summer School

The Breaking Digital course at Earlscliffe is an engaging summer programme tailored for students aged 14-17 who are passionate about journalism and digital media.

Why Book Our Journalism Summer School?

With 20 hours of teaching per week from expert journalism tutors, you’ll get an intensive crash course in the fundamentals of 21st-century news reporting and content creation. On our journalism summer school, you’ll learn through a mixture of interactive seminars and fun practical exercises – like creating a current affairs podcast or a news broadcast – to embed the skills needed by budding journalists.

As well as studying the fundamentals of print journalism and article writing, you’ll learn about the role of social media on the news, create video content, and record a current affairs podcast.
