Explore the forces shaping our world and the decisions facing global leaders
The Faculty of Global Leadership introduces students aged 14–17 to politics, economics, and international relations in the historic city of Cambridge. You’ll explore how governments exercise power, investigate the forces shaping the global economy, and debate some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Through negotiations and collaborative projects, you’ll develop your critical thinking, persuasive communication, and English skills.
It’s ideal for academically curious students interested in politics, economics, or international affairs who want to understand the complex decisions facing world leaders.
Master the art of diplomacy and learn to lead others
Global Leadership at Earlscliffe in Kent introduces students aged 14–17 to international diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership. You’ll step into the shoes of a diplomat during simulated international summits, explore how governments and international organisations address global challenges, and practise bringing people together to resolve disagreements.
It’s particularly suited to students who want to develop their leadership and communication skills through practical challenges, while learning how to negotiate, persuade others, and make difficult decisions.

Future Global Leaders is an engaging introduction to politics, international relations, and leadership for students aged 12–16, hosted at Headington in Oxford. You’ll discover how governments make decisions, explore why countries cooperate or disagree, and take part in debates, mock negotiations, and team challenges. You’ll also develop your English and enjoy an exciting programme of sports, activities, and excursions.
It’s perfect for younger students interested in current affairs who want to explore their leadership potential, learn to express their opinions persuasively, and develop their communication skills in an international environment.
Lead a business through ten years of challenges in just two weeks
The Future Global Leaders Simulation at Eton College challenges students aged 12–16 to build and lead a business through ten simulated years of commercial decisions. You’ll pitch to investors, negotiate agreements, respond to unexpected crises, and defend your strategy, discovering how each decision affects your company’s success and reputation.
It’s ideal for students who enjoy solving problems, making decisions, and taking on leadership responsibilities, and who want to develop their business skills through an immersive simulation.

What’s Included in Our Summer Schools?
Students have 15-25 hours of lessons per week with expert tutors, depending on the programme. Teaching takes place in a mixture of seminars, workshops, classroom lessons, and supervised projects.
Throughout our leadership summer schools, students have regular opportunities to strengthen their English language skills – improving their confidence in speaking, writing, and presenting.
All of our summer schools include exciting and enriching excursions to some of the UK’s top landmarks and cultural attractions. Excursions vary by programme and campus, but may include a tour of Oxford, visits to London, or a day out at Thorpe Park. All students are supervised during their excursions.
Our leadership summer schools include a packed programme of social activities and access to the outstanding facilities on their campus. From indoor sports to football, karaoke to film nights, our social programme is the perfect chance to relax after a day’s work
Accommodation and meals is offered on all our leadership summer schools. Students stay in comfortable, modern bedrooms – most children share with a few others in bright and spacious dormitories, while on some campuses older children may have their own room.

Our Cambridge campus, hosting pre-university summer schools for students aged 14-17. Lessons take place at some of Cambridge’s most prestigious schools and the historic university city is on your doorstep. A world-famous English boarding school, Eton College provides a fantastic range of facilities across campus and throughout the picturesque town of Eton, including playing fields, a sports hall, an indoor heated swimming pool, a purpose-built lecture hall and debating theatre, and more. Our summer schools at Eton College are co-educational, so both girls and boys attend classes and the activities programme together. Throughout their stay, students will have several scheduled visits, where they will be able to visit Windsor and experience the history and daily life of British royals.
