Dentistry Summer Schools

On our summer school, you’ll be learning from the best. Work alongside top dentists and receive personal teaching and mentoring. Network with dentists, orthodontists, and dental students from multiple specialisms to gain insider tips and guidance. And with 25+ hours of teaching per week on the University College London campus, you’ll undergo rigorous training to boost your skills and knowledge.

You have the option to gain a UCAS-accredited qualification on completing the dentistry summer school. This will provide you with UCAS points to support your application to university or dental school.

Learn the fundamentals of modern dentistry – from consulting with patients and reading x-rays to performing dental surgery. With a mixture of interactive lessons and incredible immersive simulations, you’ll master the theory and practice of some of the key skills needed to become a dentist.

Test your skills in a simulated dental surgery, practising real-life patient consultations and diagnostics. There’s also the chance to use virtual reality and phantom heads equipment to simulate realistic dental procedures. Plus, the dentistry summer school includes a visit to a London dental practice with the opportunity to exercise your patient consultation and diagnosis skills.

Receive personalised guidance on how to improve your applications to university or dental school and how to break into the industry. Plus, participate in an assessment centre led by dental professionals to see how you would fare in the application process, with individual feedback provided.
