Why Book Our Oxford Medicine Summer Schools?
On our medicine summer schools in Oxford, you’ll be taught by highly experienced instructors. With 15-25 hours’ teaching per week, you will receive a rigorous grounding in the fundamentals of medicine. From theory to diagnosis to patient care, our students build strong foundations of knowledge. On our Faculty of Medicine programme, guest lectures from top doctors and academics will take your learning to the next level.
Students on our Future Doctors summer school will take part in certified First Aid training. By the end of the course, you’ll have developed life-saving skills and gained an official qualification.

On our Faculty of Medicine course, students will visit a local hospital or medical research facility and immerse themselves in the work of the doctors and scientists there. Our medicine summer schools in Oxford are taught at two fantastic locations:
- Headington Rye School, one of Oxford’s most prestigious schools, hosts the Future Doctors programme. Located just a mile from the city centre, the school benefits from extensive grounds and outstanding facilities.
- The Faculty of Medicine is held at an Oxford University college. Students will live in university accommodation and study in its teaching and lecture rooms. This affords an incredible opportunity to experience life as an Oxford student – perfect for those planning ambitious university applications.
On all of our Oxford summer school campuses, students live in comfortable accommodation and benefit from plenty of opportunities for socialising and unwinding outside of study times.

Yes, our programmes include accommodation, meals, and guardianship as standard. Students live in comfortable accommodation with plenty of opportunities for socialising outside of class time.
We welcome international students onto our courses. You will need an English language level of B1 or higher to participate fully.
