FAQs

Yes. You can book this course with or without accommodation.

Students who book accommodation live on university campus in central London and are allocated to halls of residence used by University of London students, including those from UCL and LSE. We typically occupy a range of halls, including Garden Halls, College Hall, International Hall and Frances Gardner House.

Every student in our halls of residence has a private ensuite bedroom, and receives breakfast and dinner each day, all travel throughout the programme, and access to our fun schedule of evening social activities.

In our accommodation, students have 24/7 access to our safeguarding team, as well as their own dedicated house parent.

Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis. We do not have an application process, and do not expect any of our students to have any prior knowledge, simply a keen interest in the career area!

We introduce each topic at an introductory level, with guidance from our industry professionals. There are also opportunities to work towards more advanced concepts where students feel comfortable.

Please note that all students must be able to speak English at a level B2 (intermediate).

What are UCAS points?

UCAS points are a numerical measure of UK qualifications used for university admissions. They help universities compare post-16 qualifications such as A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate.

For instance, a grade B at A Level is worth 40 UCAS points, and a grade 4 in a Higher Level subject at IB is worth 32 UCAS points.

How do I earn UCAS points on this course?

If you select ‘UCAS Points’ as an add-on to your booking of a 2-week programme, or if you select a 2-week Premium programme, you will have the opportunity to gain a Level 3 Work Experience qualification. This qualification is worth 8 UCAS points.

You can learn more here.

In addition to all the teaching and experiences included in the 2-week programme, the 2-week Premium programme also includes:

  • An opportunity to experience the London School of Economics (LSE) campus
  • Professional development and university admissions coaching
  • Psychometric testing and personality profiling
  • A private Gala dinner and networking event with professionals
  • A Level 3 Award in Work Experience and an Assessment for 8 UCAS points (this can also be purchased separately as an add-on to the standard 2-week programme)

Simply select your chosen start date, duration, and other add-ons at the top of the page, and click ‘Book Now’. You will be taken to a booking form, where you will need to fill out both the parent’s and student’s details. The process takes just a few minutes.
