Thinking Like a Doctor: a clinical case in cardiology
with Dr. Lydia Yosief
Through a simulated patient scenario, students work through a case of a patient having a heart attack, starting from the absolute basics of history taking. They then use that information and clinical reasoning skills to arrive at possible diagnoses and treatments, before we discuss the diagnosis and a brief overview of the underlying pathophysiology. The session is deliberately interactive, encouraging students to think, work together, and approach the problem as a medical student or doctor would.
