Students enjoy two full-day, supervised excursions into central London as part of their two-week programme, complementing their academic learning with cultural exploration:
- London sightseeing – a chance to explore London’s iconic landmarks and cultural attractions
- Knightsbridge museums – discover some of the city’s most famous museums, with collections covering natural history, culture, science, and technology
- UCL campus (Career Discovery only) – experience life on the campus of one of the world’s best universities and learn to prepare yourself for school, university, and job interviews
Relax and have fun
Our multi-activity programme in the afternoons offers an unrivalled opportunity for students to take advantage of Dulwich’s exceptional facilities. Whether they’re getting creative in the art studio, playing football or rounders on the games field, or unwinding with yoga, it’s the perfect way to relax after a day’s work.
In the evenings, the school comes together for events including quizzes, talent shows, and Secret Cinema. It’s a great chance to build friendships and enjoy life in the Dulwich community.

During the ceremony, every student receives a certificate of completion, along with a personalised report highlighting their accomplishments and offering tailored guidance for future success.

We understand that sending your child abroad is a big decision, which is why their safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated residential staff provide 24/7 on-site pastoral support, with a staff-to-student ratio of 1:6 to ensure every student receives the care and attention they need. All residential staff are fully trained and DBS-checked, creating a safe, welcoming environment where students can settle in, make friends, and enjoy their summer.

A Day at Dulwich
You’ll spend the day in fast-paced English lessons or coaching before experiencing what Dulwich College – and London – have to offer in the evenings. See what a typical day on a Dulwich College summer school looks like.
7:45am: Wake up and breakfast. Get the day off to a great start with your housemates.
9am: Academic Programme. Fast-paced, interactive lessons in your subject led by experienced, engaging tutors.
11am: Academic Progamme continues. Collaborate with your teammates on a challenge, or make a presentation in English.
12:30pm: Lunch. Enjoy a nutritious meal to fuel you for the afternoon.
1:30pm: Afternoon Experience. An immersive learning opportunity. For QPR Pro Football Experience students, this will take place at Queen’s Park Rangers FC. For Career Discovery students, this could be an immersive career simulation or site visit. For English Adventurers, this could be a hands-on project, fieldwork in London, or organised campus activities.
4:30pm: Multi-Activity Programme. Enjoy an exciting activity with friends – whether it’s art, badminton, yoga, or football.
6pm: Dinner. Re-assemble as a whole school to enjoy an evening meal.
7pm: Whole-School Events. Everyone comes together for a great evening – from house talent competitions to Secret Cinema.
Modern, Comfortable Accommodation
Students at Dulwich College stay in comfortable boarding accommodation set within the college’s spacious London campus. The setting is calm and green, while still giving easy access to the city when heading out for activities.
Rooms are modern and well kept, with shared spaces that make it easy to unwind, chat with friends or spend some quiet time.
You can choose between a shared room and bathroom or a single room with ensuite when booking.

For the QPR Pro Football Experience and Career Discovery Summer Experience, a minimum of B1 (intermediate) English level is required to attend.
For English Adventurers, a minimum of A2 (pre-intermediate) English level is required.

Our Dulwich College summer schools include tuition, course materials, meals, supervised excursions, and a varied programme of sports and social activities. Students also receive insurance, an academic progress report, and a certificate at the end of their course.
Residential students benefit from comfortable boarding accommodation, all meals, weekly laundry, and round-the-clock pastoral care. Day students enjoy the same academic and activity programmes, including lunch and an evening meal, but return home each day.
Flights and airport transfers are not included in the course fees.

Outside of the academic programme, residential students will be able to enjoy a dynamic and exciting programme of evening activities including quiz nights, board game nights, sports activities, craft activities and more. Students will be given free time within the Dulwich College campus.
Yes, students are supervised 24 hours a day on our Dulwich College summer school campus, with a maximum 1:15 staff-to-student ratio on campus and 1:10 on excursions.
