SAT Preparation

Preparing for the SAT felt like a long, hard, challenge, but working with Julia Kennish made it so much better. She’s an incredible teacher who not only helped me study efficiently, but also taught me tips and tricks to handle the harder questions. Her lessons helped me improve my score by 320 points, and ultimately get into my dream university. Her lessons were tailored to my needs and genuinely enjoyable. I can’t recommend her enough!! Thank you, Julia’s for all the support!

I worked specifically with Charlotte and several others over the course of a year, culminating in a final push. During that final push my scores went up consistently by using material recommended by A-List as well as some incredibly useful sessions. In these sessions Charlotte would lay out the patterns of questions as well as the rules govern them in an incredibly clear manner; it really helped me to understand the seemingly unlimited amounts of rules easily and in such a way that I will remember them in the long run. I mentioned to Charlotte that these sessions would condense 5hrs of time spent using resources online into 1:30hrs, and the notes that we produced together are still incredibly helpful for review in the future; if I need to be reminded about how the Americans are fond of the dreaded comma before an and! A-list helped me hugely with my SAT. Charlotte McKenchie was a great teacher and I really recommend getting her. Before I had any lessons I scored 1190 in my SAT and after having 15 lessons I got 1550 in my SAT. When applying to university I wasn’t sure if I was good enough for the top D1 schools but because of that SAT score it has opened so many new doors to go through. Without her I wouldn’t be able to follow my dream and study at the best university possible to become the best me. Thank you Charlotte for everything! Hope you the best in the near future!
