Immersive Medical Experiences

• Visit a teaching hospital, take part in a simulated ward round and work as part of a medical team under the guidance of a doctor.

Gain a Qualification and UCAS Points

• Complete assessments to achieve a Level 3 Award in Work Experience and Career Planning, worth 8 UCAS points.

Week 2

The Ward Round

• Care for simulated patients with varied medical needs

• Treat and monitor patients using a reactive simulator
• Respond to changing information and patient conditions

Case Conundrums & Blood Taking

• Practise taking blood from a prosthetic arm

The Emergency Room

• Immerse yourself in a fast-paced hospital department

The Patient Lifecycle: Paediatrics & Geriatrics

• Explore the role of paediatricians and geriatricians

Locations
The programme is based at UCL and the surrounding University of London campus. Certain days take place in other key industry locations in London.

Accommodation:
Students live on university campus in central London and are allocated to halls of residence used by University of London students, including those from UCL and LSE. We typically occupy a range of halls, including Garden Halls, College Hall, International Hall and Frances Gardner House.

All rooms are single and en-suite.
