Typically scheduled at the start of the year-long cycle, before application deadlines, our private consultation is designed to assess your potential as an applicant. We then provide feedback on certain areas to work on, and address all concerns you may have.

Each year, we offer personalised consultations to over 500 prospective Oxbridge students. In these sessions, conducted either online or at our London premises, we deliver exclusive research-led insights into the admissions process. What’s Included in a Private Consultation?

Here’s a breakdown of the full private consultation process:

For the first half hour or so, we’ll get started with a mini mock test. This is simply a small test for you and us to get a sense of what the real test is like, and what suits you. Your raw score for this mini mock test is simply to get an idea of your strengths and areas to improve.

Next, our Oxbridge application consultants move on to the mock interview. This can be subject-specific, or we’ll explore various questions regarding different subjects to see what you are most comfortable discussing in an energetic, motivated way.

Then, we’ll invite your family into our conversation, so everyone can take part in a Q&A session. Students can address their concerns and ask our Oxbridge application consultants any questions about the admission process. If needed, we’ll also discuss further support.

Following the consultation, our Oxbridge consultants provide a comprehensive personal feedback report and course reports that detail our recommendations for the next steps you should take.

Our private Oxbridge consultations are detailed 90-minute discussions between a student, their family, and our Oxbridge application consultants. Designed to offer personalised advice to support your application, and drawing on years of experience, our consultants also conduct mini mock tests and interviews to assess your readiness for the Oxbridge admissions process.

Our Oxbridge consultants are highly experienced professionals with years of experience supporting Oxbridge applications. They are all Oxbridge graduates who have been through the admissions process themselves, with an in-depth understanding of Oxbridge applications and a proven track record of success.

The consultation begins with a mini mock test, followed by a mock interview. Then, our consultants invite the student’s family to join the consultation to discuss their performance and provide feedback and actionable recommendations, and answer any questions you may have. Following the consultation, we provide an in-depth report summarising our recommendations for the next steps you should take to maximise your chances of admission.

Our team of Oxbridge application consultants and Oxbridge tutors provide a comprehensive range of services to prepare students for every aspect of the admissions process, including personal statement support, admissions test tutoring, and interview preparation.
