Oxbridge Applications

Theo studied Human, Social, and Political Sciences at Cambridge for his BA and MA, achieving the top result in his year with a ‘starred First’. He has gone on to achieve two master’s degrees, including in Psychology from Birkbeck College, where he also achieved the highest overall grade in his cohort. He has held teaching and research positions at McGill University and Birkbeck College, and has also worked on the creation of the most recent Oxford Handbook of Higher Education.

At Dukes Plus, Theo has advised and mentored over 1000 applicants across a decade, presents regularly to schools and conferences, and has also written and edited many publications and mock test materials used by thousands of applicants each year. For his work, Theo has won the Dukes Education prize for going ‘Above and Beyond’ twice. Also serving as a school governor in his spare time, Theo is passionate about education and finds supporting students in the transition between school and university particularly rewarding.

Drama School Admissions

Theo trained in professional acting at The Guildhall School of Music, having been admitted to three out of four drama schools he applied to (the others being Bristol Old Vic and LAMDA). He has performed in venues in London and across the UK.

Theo has also served on the audition panel for Guildhall and has successfully coached dozens of applicants for drama schools. He enjoys helping drama school aspirants with their preparation, as well as using his acting experience to offer communication skills advice for interview performance.
