Ishwa is an Oxbridge applications consultant at Dukes Plus, supporting students from a wide range of academic backgrounds in their applications to Oxford, Cambridge, and other leading UK universities.
She holds a BA in Arabic and Islamic Studies and an MSc in Modern Middle Eastern Studies, both from Oxford. Ishwa works closely with applicants across languages and linguistics, politics, and history, and also advises students from many other subject areas through individual consultations.
Her academic interests centre on authoritarian politics and the modern history of the Middle East, with particular attention to the legacy of colonialism. Drawing on her interdisciplinary background, Ishwa takes a strategic approach to mentoring, helping students build strong, coherent applications.
