English Language Development
Enhance your English language skills throughout the programme by expanding vocabulary, improving fluency, and practising persuasive communication. You’ll gain confidence using English to discuss global topics and deliver presentations, particularly in preparation for your Time to Shine project.

Global Summit — Building a Charter for Change

Experience an international summit, where students take on the roles of global delegates tackling pressing challenges. Working in teams, they identify key issues, debate possible solutions, and shape their ideas into a formal charter — a short set of guiding principles that are both visionary and achievable.

The process mirrors the dynamics of real international gatherings such as climate conferences or peace summits, where negotiation, compromise, and leadership lead to meaningful agreement.

Pass Your Climate Resolution

In this project, students draft a charter addressing climate change and sustainable development. They explore and debate policies on renewable energy, conservation, and global responsibility, before presenting their charters at the global summit.

The challenge is to distil complex ideas into clear, persuasive principles — statements that could realistically guide international action and inspire genuine environmental progress.

Negotiate Global Peace

This project asks students to consider what makes lasting peace possible. They examine the importance of dialogue, conflict resolution, and the role of international organisations in promoting stability.

Each team develops a charter that balances ambition with pragmatism, proposing realistic principles for a more cooperative world. The final charters are presented and discussed in a global summit that celebrates diplomacy, critical thinking, and global citizenship.

Understand Global Systems and Challenges
Explore international relations, diplomacy, economics, and global policy to understand how the world’s major issues are shaped and resolved. You’ll examine the forces that influence international cooperation, conflict, and change, developing insight into the systems that govern our interconnected world.

Develop Strategic Leadership Skills
Strengthen your ability to think critically and lead effectively through interactive negotiations, simulations, and scenario-based exercises. You’ll learn how to make informed decisions under pressure, manage competing interests, and apply strategic thinking to complex challenges.

Practise Cross-Cultural Communication
Collaborate with peers from around the world to develop your skills in negotiation, teamwork, and intercultural awareness. You’ll learn how to communicate with empathy and diplomacy, gaining the ability to bridge cultural differences and build consensus in diverse settings.

Apply Leadership in Practical Contexts
Put your knowledge into action through case studies and group projects that address real global challenges. You’ll research, design, and present solutions that demonstrate your ability to apply leadership principles in dynamic and practical ways.

Module 1: Foundations of Global Leadership
Discover the key principles of leadership within an international framework. You’ll explore leadership theories and analyse both historical and contemporary examples to understand what makes leaders effective. Through discussions and case studies, you’ll examine how leadership decisions influence communities, nations, and global institutions, building a foundation for your own approach to global leadership.

Module 2: Diplomacy and International Relations
Develop your understanding of diplomacy, negotiation, and the systems that enable international collaboration. You’ll study topics such as global governance, conflict resolution, and the roles of major international organisations. Interactive role-play simulations and mock summits will allow you to apply theory in practice, enhancing your communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Module 3: Policy, Strategy and Decision-Making
Examine how leaders create and implement strategies to address global challenges. You’ll analyse case studies on pressing issues such as climate change, public health, and international security, before working collaboratively to design your own policy proposals. Presenting your strategies to peers will strengthen your analytical thinking, public speaking, and decision-making skills.
