The Dukes Plus Art Competition is an exciting opportunity for young artists to unleash their creativity and showcase their talents! Whether you love painting, drawing, or designing, this competition is your chance to express yourself and share your unique artistic vision with others.
Not only is this a wonderful way to celebrate your creativity, but participants also stand a chance to win fantastic prizes awarded at our exclusive awards ceremony in London. Open to children aged 4 to 16, there are three age categories to enter.
This year, the art competition is on the theme of ‘home’. Your Dukes Plus challenge is to think creatively about what this means to you. We will consider artworks in the mediums of painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and collage.
Don’t delay – with a deadline of January 7th, 2025, now is the time to get started on your piece that could be the highlight of our competition. We can’t wait to see what you’ll create!
Details of the art competition
- Age categories: 4-7, 8-11, and 12-16
- Deadline: 7th January 2025
- Prizes: All exhibitors will receive a prize, and the winners in each age category will receive a £100 voucher to be spent at Cass Arts
- Judges: The judges will be a panel of five artists and art teachers.
- Awards Ceremony: Prizes will be awarded at an exhibition held at Fine Arts College, Hampstead, London.
Submission Guidelines
- Theme: Your artwork must be on the theme of ‘home’.
- Medium: We welcome submissions in the mediums of painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and collage. Sculptures should have a maximum dimension of 1m in any direction, with dimensions to be submitted along with the photographs of your artwork.
- How to submit: Please submit photographs of your artwork using the form below. Uploads should be in JPG or JPEG format only. Please do not submit hard copies. Please only submit one artwork per applicant.
- Eligibility: Open to students aged 4-16 years old on 7th January 2025.
- Deadline: 7th January 2025.
