How do you apply to study in the UK?
Most undergraduate applications to UK universities are made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Through UCAS, you can apply to up to five courses in one cycle, submitting your academic details, a single personal statement, and a reference. Deadlines vary: medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, and Oxford or Cambridge (Oxbridge) applications close in mid-October, while most other courses have a January deadline.
Both Oxford and Cambridge have their own additional admissions process, which may include subject-specific admissions tests and interviews. Many other selective universities also run tests like the LNAT (for Law degrees) or the UCAT (for Medicine).
