Mission 2035 — Innovate Under Pressure

Mission 2035 places students at the centre of a global response taskforce. Throughout the week, you’ll step into scenarios shaped by urgent global challenges — cyberattacks, energy shortages, pandemics, and climate disasters — and work collaboratively to design solutions that could keep communities functioning in moments of crisis.

At the Mission 2035 showcase, Future Entrepreneurs take the stage as founders of companies built to meet tomorrow’s emergencies. Each team pitches a start-up aimed at addressing critical needs in climate, energy, food, or security — unveiling their prototype or concept, introducing their brand, and persuading the audience why their solution has the power to shape the future. The format mirrors a high-stakes pitch session where clarity, conviction, and strong evidence are essential.

Mission 2035 – Products to Tackle Climate Migration

In the first project, students develop a company designed to support communities displaced by climate change. Solutions might include modular housing, portable sanitation systems, or digital platforms that connect people with services and support networks. The week concludes with a live pitch demonstrating how the company’s idea responds to urgent humanitarian needs.

Mission 2035 — Energy and Food Security Start-Up

In the second week, students design a start-up that addresses energy or food insecurity. Ideas may include renewable energy systems, efficient storage methods, or innovative ways to grow and distribute food in limited conditions. Teams present their brand, prototype, and business model, clearly explaining why their solution could operate effectively and at scale in 2035.

Future Entrepreneurs has been designed for students aged 12-16 who aspire to make a difference in the world of business. At Eton College, we recognise the importance of equipping young leaders with the business acumen, ethics, and confidence needed to thrive in a competitive global landscape. This course introduces core principles in business and leadership, preparing students to become resourceful, impactful future leaders.
