Role Overview:

The Primary Education Tuition Manager is a hybrid position at Dukes Tutoring and will be mainly based at home and partly based at Dukes House in central London. You will be an experienced EYFS / Primary teacher with specific experience of preparing students for entrance exams with a secure curriculum and resource knowledge up to 13+. As EYFS and Primary Tuition Manager, you will be responsible for supporting tutors and clients in preparing students for entrance exams, recommending resources, creating and leading workshops, with a strong knowledge of London independent schools as well as boarding schools. Your primary role is to engage with tutors, clients, and our partners, ensuring that students are making strong progress towards their academic goals and suggesting appropriate strategies and interventions, as needed.

Main Role Responsibilities:

Tutor Support:

• Advising and supporting tutors with students from EYFS up to 13+ who are having curriculum support or working towards an independent school entrance exam
• Reviewing lesson plans and providing ongoing guidance and support
• Leading primary teaching and learning and recommending appropriate resources
• Providing strategies and interventions to ensure strong student progress
• Responding to client queries
• Tracking, reviewing and reading the termly Student Progress Reviews
• Liaising with tutors and ensuring that entrance exam information is up to date and shared
• Attending and contributing to weekly team meetings and other meetings (as required)

Products and Events:

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services
• Planning, preparing and leading workshops, talks and webinars
• Organising and leading group mock interviews, assessments and writing reports

Reporting and Documentation:

• Supporting and advising the training and matching teams
• Tracking entrance exam results and feedback
• Reviewing and updating documentation for tutors and parents
• Collating 11+ English and Maths papers for tutors
• Planning and leading the annual 11+ tutor meeting

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tutor and client questions and resolving issues promptly
• Ensure satisfaction and build long-term professional relationships with tutors, clients and our partners

Role Requirements:

Essential: A qualified primary teacher with EYFS, KS1, KS2 experience ( KS3 would be a bonus). Tutoring experience with independent entrance exams, strong academic resource knowledge, high expectations for student progress, ability to handle challenging conversations, strong organization and time management.

Preferred: Years of classroom experience, knowledge of London independent and boarding schools.
